Yael Shifra's Artwork Home Yael has been creating "cut-outs" since 1983.  She holds a BA from Harvard University and an MA from Hebrew College.  She is a violinist/performance artist who pursued graduate studies in music both at the Peabody Institute of Music and at the New England Conservatory of Music.  This site is dedicated solely to her visual artwork.  Yael specializes in commissioned work and has created pieces incorporating various texts in Hebrew as well as English.
